    ok, to anyone who's having problems logging in to skyfire try signing up again, it's all fixed now. just re-enter the same email and enter the beta code you received

    And this is why I want IE6 mobile.
    I decided I was gonna use skyfire and made it the default browser.
    Now it won't let me "login". I changed the password on the site and deleted the auth.txt files.

    -edit- I got in not sure why but at least I can take the checkmark out of the default browser now.

    when they made skyfire public they changed to a different server stack, something about that change is causing the authentication issues (among other things). just be patient, it will take some time to fix. remember they are a very small company

    Im having trouble downloading Skyfire. Everytime I try to install the CAB file I get an error message "installation was unsuccessful" what gives?

    what size is the cab you downloaded? it should be over 500k

    The CAB file size is 368 B.......I never even heard of that. I got it from the site.

    I just updated my Skyfire b/c I got an email reminding me to do that just a few minutes ago. It was 555kb.
    Have them send it to you with a text link on phone or download it to your PC.
    I'm sorry you are having a problem but Paco will figure it out.

    ok, I just downloaded it too and the file is ok, Tony cross checked on the server just in case. The problem could be with the IP, or carrier.

    My bad y'all, had a brain-fart. I just had them sent a SMS and I downloaded it that way. I didnt see that option initially. Thanks for the help though, much appreciated!

    Hey is anyone else getting a message saying "we are doing sever maitainence" and to "please try again later" when they try to open Skyfire? Have gotten that message for a few hours now......

    I ended it. Don't want the battery to die. Having a problem with the AC chord. Charges in the car fine, but I am traveling in the morning and don't want a dead battery. (This is the first time in ages that I am leaving the phone totally "off")
