battery drain has been improved in previous versions since they added the backlight not staying on all the time

as far as this version it is slightly better than the last although i havent tested that extensively

I like the new look...has a load bar instead of an icon and new colors! I'll let you know about battery life later.

Seems faster + improved performance when on 1x. They still need a "stop" button.

Not quite as sluggish when zooming. Unless somebody sliped me a double expresso shot the resolution seems a little clearer and not as grainy

Looks a bit better. I just logged in here with it. That won't work. Back to Opera 8.65.

I've been working since about 5:30am...receiving emails, etc. Then installed the update. played with it at lunch for about 30 minutes straight. After that showed it to a few people at the meeting and a few more after I got back to the store. I'm still at 30% battery. Seems to have good life on the Q9m\c with extended battery.

I would hope so with a fifty dollar plus battery.
I have had my gps running with cgps locked all day and
my battery only went down maybe 5 percent the whole time
I ran skyfire for maybe 5 minutes and my battery went down enough for me to notice it
    we will see

    1860 mAh batterry

I do have the BT91..1860mAh..It's the largest Motorola battery that will fit under the extended cover. The only bigger one is the Seidio Battery.

if there is a battery improvement.. it 'aint much. About the same with my BT90.

Seems the only thing different is the UI and slightly better resolution

Just got the upgrade. Nice UI. Hulu is still blocking SF (jerks). Read on SFs home or download page that SF now supports Silverlight. Does this mean you can now watch Netflix on demand ? If so that is a nice feature. Will probably burn your battery down fast but wouldn't be bad plugged in laying in bed while the wife watches Brothers and Sisters, Desperate Housewives ect ect ect.

I downloaded the new version too. It's great - much faster than the older one, and the text is much more clear than before.
