    sherri's Queen screen issue

When we left NY, it was 42 F, but when we got to Mohegan Sun (resort & casino in CT, it was 35 F.

Love the Queen screen also! Anyway to get these on the phone w/out a pc?

If I'm not mistaken, you can download the files directly to your phone. That is, after you find them through your phone browser. The homescreen itself should be downloaded to the phone and the appropriate files and folders put in the Application Data, then Home folder.
If I'm off base, I'm sure someone will straighten it out.

What did I ever say or do that makes you think I know enough like how to unzip a file on this phone?!?

LOL! I can unzip on a pc, but how do I do it directly on the phone? If I click Cindy's link to download, it does, in a zip file. Opens a bunch of jpg files (which I happen to know a pictures...) and an xml page. When I click on any of these, I get an error message...Now what?

I'm glad you think I'm bright enough to figure this out, but this is ME we are talking about!

Maybe don't click them...Highlight them all and move them to the Application data/home dir.

I haven't tried it but, thats what i think....thru file manager

I tried this. I then get a "file viewer/path" screen. When I highlight or click any of the jpg files or the xml file, I get the message "Document is faulty and could not be converted".

Is there a program I need on the phone to unzip this?

Include this one too! Still can't get this. I was able to dl resco and get the files extracted and unzipped. I can now "open" the jpegs and "view" the xml. I moved them to the application data/home area. When I go to start/settings/home screen, it nows shows a choice for "Summer". I select it, and get beautiful colored backgrounds. None of the pictures are there.

Cindy, I am really sorry for mucking up your thread, I just really loved this homescreen and wanted to dl it as soon as possible. I guess I will wait until my laptop arrives from Dell and I can download it from there!

    Sorry everyone!

I downloaded Cindy's HS to check the XML

    XML Quote: <background bgimage="\Application Data\Home\Summer\Summer Main Page.jpg" valign="top" />

In Application Data\Home\Summer\Summer Main Page.jpg Make a folder named Summer & move the picture files/jpg's into that folder.
    Then try setting your HS.
But I think if you do this it will be OK b/c the XML is pointing to that folder

Talking Chinese! I clicked the link from Cindy. This dl into My Documents Folder. Moved them using file mgr. to App/data/home. Went to Resco folder on phone. Found files. Extracted files. Went back to file manager. Found extracted files (now when I "clicked" them, the pictures were there). Went to start/settings/homescreen. Found "Summer". Clicked it. Pretty colors, no pictures! Re-booted phone. Still no pictures! :(

Back to myPhone theme until I get laptop or "directions for dummies"...

    Again, sorry Cindy!

Yep, like dafoxs said. Use your File Explorer in the start menu.
Just remember there are "things" under the Right Soft Key that help with creating folders, moving files, etc....
Take a deep breath girlfriend, you can do this. Think of all the new brain cells you are creating figuring this out. We already have docmac whacking out on us, we don't need 2 of you.
