I'm having the hardest time even downloading this seven software. I've created an account with seven and it takes me to the download page. I have a Q1 with Sprint. The seven page says that it supports the Q but the Sprint page doesn't. Can anyone help me with this? When I try to download it straight to my phone, Sprint tells me that there's no content available. Thanks in advance.

    Tried...and then deleted :(

I gave SEVEN a quick try today and I have already decided to uninstall it. I was using it on a Q9 Global for "pushing" out my gmail. I just couldn't really see the benefit of the overhead when I can just set the built in email client to check every 5 min.

Maybe it would be more useful for someone who needed access to an exchange/lotus server...

Yahoo is working in my native email client, two addresses actually. Gmail just will not work.

SEVEN also issued an "The attempt to sign in failed due to an invalid Username and/or Password. Please check your Username and Password and try again. (300)

I'm freagin' pawsative that the gawdam yousa name an passwod ah ca-rect!

    Solutions?

finally got all accounts set up. wouldn't you know? it just started working today.

now each time I want to compose or view a message the stupid SEVEN dashboard starts loading for 15 seconds. even when I click on my calendar. wtf? pain in my butt, man. AND my emails are taking forever to receive and to send. Gmail also works intermitantly and I frequently get server errors. this program is starting to get a thumbs down. i'll give in 2 more days. then it's hard reset city, dudes.

I tried it since Sprint's push mail, like one my Rumor, is a Seven "client" and works pretty good. v7 on my phone was horrible, popped up at weird times, slow getting mail and slowed the phone, but worked great, until Yahoo blocked it, on my wife's 700wx.

it's getting a little better. but it's still shutting down every couple of hours and I dn't realize my email pushing stopped hours beforehand.

becoming a fan. email seems timely. just need to find a way to keep seven from shuting down.

It doesn't appear that Seven works with Verizon equipped Q's? I don't see any mention of Verizon when I read through their stuff. They only discuss AT&T and Sprint.

I was emailed this reply to a thread from the Seven forums today.
    it's about time...
    @ Bozz,
it don't see why it wouldn't work.
it's at least worth a shot. just pick the generic WM operating system. if it doesn't work just delete.

I hope it uses less resources than the previous version.
Looks like I'll have to wait a week more before buying PushEffects. Shame I was ready today just to lazy/cheap to do it.

I'm gonna try that version. From readin the Seven forums the Sprint version is 6 while the beta is 7.
I like the idea that Sprint uses the software for their push but it just slows my phone down.

I wonder if the apps been updated any since I last tried on MY phone.
    My wife's 700wx runs it fine ):

    Just thought I'd post:

The Seven servers were down due to a move and I went crazy over the weekend without email getting pushed.

On Sept 9th they released a new client. It's not smartphone compatible but it installed and works MUCH better than the last very.
It doesn't slow the phone AND my phone will often get get a notification before Thunderbird on my PCs.

So your saying even though its not smartphone compatible it will still work well with the Q9c? How can I get this new client on my Q9c? I checked for an upgrade from my SEVEN client on the Q9c and it said there was none.

    thanks
    Angelo

Sorry for the "late" reply. It had nothing to do with Seven.
I got the notification but I was in the shower.
The Ziplock snack bag does a good job of keeping the Q dry but the suds makes it hard to type.

Just download the Windows Mobile 6 Professional version.

Keep in mind while it worked for me it's unsupported.

Their site is down because they're moving.
Even if you had the .cab file it won't do you any good until Sunday.
