    SDW-823 and Q9h?

Is it possible to add wifi to the Q9h with the Spectec SDW-823 card? If so, where would you get the drivers for Windows Mobile 6 and the Q9h? With wifi, this phone looks perfect.

    Why is that?

Spectec seems to be saying something different:

They don't say that it works with Motorola q9h though. Just to give you an example.. The miniSD wifi cards work on the q9m but don't work on the Original Q.

Do you have specific knowledge/experience that the microSDIO WiFi card will not work on the Moto Q 9h? My concern is that I didn't see a reference to WM6 on their product info.

The Spectec 822 has two different versions. One is for regular smartphones/pocket pcs and the other is for our Moto Qs. They have two different versions so that kind of tells me something that they would have to make a version for the Q alone in order for it to work.

Wrong. They work on both the Q and the Q9m and until someone has actualy tested them in the q9h I wouldn't rule it out.

I have 823 in Moto q9h Norman wm6.1. It works fine, battery life is good. Two issues:
-- there is no way to turn wifi off
-- phone hangs when I pull wifi card with phone on. (you have to turn phone off, pull card out and then restart phone without wifi)

I was asking because I came across this card:

    http://www.amazon.com/Spectec-SDW-822-miniSD-WiFi-802-11b/dp/B000VCTGB6

I read that it would work if the OG Q had enough amps to power it. But then again, we'd be able to fly if we had wings huh.

and you are right it is mini not micro. I mistyped when writing that. my brain was saying the right thing but my hands were typing another.
