I think you have to pay for those.
that's one i (also) created earlier today to put this thing to the test... and frankly i already got bored with it :}
Once my website gets started I will probably create a mobile version of it and use these codes for that.
installed it...may steal a fed ex box tommorow and see how it does
What, do FedEx boxes use EZcodes lol?
yes.. I think FedEx uses EZcodes.
Cool. Next time a FedEx guy comes to the door I'll have to scan the package too.
this looks like one, but not sure what that circle is about...
ps. i have not tried scanning it...
I tried it and it wouldn't read it. That circle must be a special blocker so only FedEx scanners can read it. I don't think you'd find much on the code either; probably just a link to an internal server with the address and info, and tells the server the package was delivered.
(Sorry 2x post)
I was wondering about this last night: will the codes read with different colors? Instead of a white background, another light color, or the black pieces being another dark color. Anyone try this?
good point on the circle..
i tried and changed some of the black to red.. and yellow and even made the black partially transparent, still works. only once it said invalid barcode, when i had the solid black filled with a colored pattern..
Great! So there is a bit of artistic application available.
I added it to my apps panel on my HS, but there was no icon for it. So I made one.
It's attached below.
I'm gonna go post it in the icon pack thread.
What's the point of this app? Like I mean what's the point of using it?
It's extremely popular in Japan, and slowly coming to the west.
RB, how/where did you get that bar code? And how did you get in onto the post?
Scanner works great.
i created it (for free) on scanlife.com... and it's on my ftp/http, so i just "hot" linked it.
Thanks for asking, itz poly!! I thought I was the only one who was reading this with nooooo idea why it would be needed(although it looked cool on last night's CSI New york episode...)
