    Ringtones and a question

OK guys, I have tried putting an MPS in the sounds folder and it DOES show up as a ringtone. All that works GREAT!

    Now the Million Dollar Questions:

I am not creative or musical, but how could I cut an MP3 down to size (or just edit a portion of the song out) to get more ring tones, and not was 2MB per song?

Sorry of this is a dumb question, but I work on business PC stuff, and the fun and games stuff is not always what I know best.

    Thanks in advance...

I'm also a big fan of the semi-free program Goldwave: http://www.goldwave.com/

You can set start and finish markers, trim, adjust the volume.

Its semi-free because you can perform something like 30 tasks on a file before having to close and reopen the program.

    Good luck.
