Brought to you by the developers of the popular Triangula, Quadrata is
another smart and fun take on the classic paper-and-pencil game of Squares.

    • Connect dots with lines and make 2×2 rectangles ("quads"), trying to claim
    more squares than your opponent.
    • Test your skills against the computer or challenge a friend.
    • Track your performance over time and submit your grades to online
    leaderboards.
    • Start with an empty play field or let the computer make your first moves
    for you.
    • Leave the game unfinished and come back later to complete it.
    • Computer cheats? Use the playback feature to see what actually happened.

Great simple game — easy to learn and fun to play, but hard to master.
Quadrata is available in the Marketplace for FREE.

Looks like a great game. But before I install it, and before I can recommend it, can you tell me why it needs location services?

    Dear shaggy2200,

This is from the game's description in the Marketplace:
There is an in-app setting that allows you to disable the use of location services.

BTW, there is an ad-free (and therefore location-indifferent) version of the game, Quadrata Premium, available here.
