Q9c to HTC Touch Pro back to Q9c

Please forgive me guys. I left the Q9c to swith to the HTC Touch Pro since best buy had that crazy deal ($199 for touch pro to renew 2 years contract).

But after 5 days of use, Q9c is the victor! can't believe it? read my review here: http://www.everythinghtc.com/forum/htc-touch-pro/touch-pro-reviews-post-what-you-think-here-253.html

I really really wanted the touch pro to work, but it just didn't. So now I am back with the Q9c community - yay!

Now I have a higher appreciation for the Q9c even though it's slower than I'd like.

Welcome back. I will not try the HTC. I had an Ipaq, upgraded to the Q9c & love it better.

And I was contemplating purchasing the HTC today, good thing I found that thread. I wouldn't leave this community anyways. I love my Q.

Had the first Q. Upgraded to a Mogul and now a TouchPro. I've never regretted it.

I love my Q and I've loved the Q line since the beginning. I have grown to like Windows Mobile as well.

thanks for your reply in blue. sounds like we agree in general about the HTC touch pro, except you were able to overcome the shortcomings and enjoy it. I suppose I could get used to it but there would be that thought in the back of my mind...

"I paid $200 to renew a 2-year contract to get this phone (very cheap btw) and I had to settle and get used to it..."

I think this is what really got to me. I love my Q9C but yes, you can't beat the 528Mhz processor! Come on Motorola! Make use of this extended battery you gave us and give us some power. I have my Q9c currently set now on the profile=0 hack and it is lasting through the day so that's a plus.

I have been considering it mainly for the screen, camera and processor. The concern I have is for the lag when switching to physical keyboard and no dedicated camera button

I checked one out at a Sprint store last night, there didn't seem to be much lag when switching to the keyboard. I also installed skyfire on it, which worked well (set it as the default browser and left it that way)
