From what I've seen others say the batteries match but the cradle is different.

I am not sure about the batteries, and I would not want to say yes or no based on a Q9m comparison. Does anyone with a Q9 (Euro) have any info?

How does the cradle work with the plug being on the side, I assume you have to plug the cable in afterward.

I actaully found a good pic of the cradle, it looks like you slide the phone sideways to plug it in. Not quite as easy as just dropping it in, I wonder why they put the USB on the side instead of the bottom.
I ordered my wifi card saturday

Question: I have the card and have downloaded the .rar file.
Where and how do I install this file on my Q9M ?

i was told that its pre-installed on the phone. Just pop in the card and see if it works.

If it doesn't then you can extract the .rar files. You'll need to download WINRAR from rarlabs.com.
Once you extract files from the .rar files. Run the .exe file within it and make sure your phone is hooked up. you'll see a msg on your phone asking you to click yes to the install.

press and hold the home button.. then go to wireless manager.
    Do you see wi-fi there?

If not then install the drivers from spectec as i stated in my earlier post.

    New product!

Buygpsnow.com has a new product under wifi cards specifically naming the Motorola Q GSM for a little more: http://www.buygpsnow.com/Product/Sp...IO-WLAN-11b-card-for-Motorola-Q-GSM__909.aspx
I assume that the same wifi card is going to work for the CDMA and GSM Version as would be determined from spectec's website. I'll most likely be purchasing a Q on verizon's network very shortly so I am eager to see if this works.

IT WAS CHANGED! I went out and looked as well and it did indeed say WiFi YES early yesterday. It has been updated to say NO. Well at least we can try the WiFi card . . .

    ewwww

I just found one on ebay that actualy has a picture of a q9 with the card in it. here. Is it really always going to stick out of the phone like that? I thought it would be more flush with the top. That looks like it would break really easily.

Ok so you are the test rat! :) Is the speed what you would expect on your WiFi network? How easy is it to find and run? Signal strength of the card good enough? Do you know if you can get onto a WEP protected network? How about machine ID?
