    Q is slowwwww

I am on my Q at the store right now sorry if I didn't search but my Q s being somewhat slow lately and its not even a week old. When i sroll it tends to lag somewhat and I already am using the "speed hack" that increases the RAM usage and cache size I believe and that doesn't seem to help.

    Thanks

Do you use task manager to close your unused programs?

The tasks I have running are:

    Mon 2/18/2008
    pMSNServer.exe
    Prfiles
    Remote API Client
    tcmd.exe
    Text Messages

How do I know which ones I don't need?

WM controls the running tasks.. no real need to mess with it.

    I don't get that..

The only things I leave running are clockontop & keylock.exe

If there is anything else, text messages, clientshell.exe, pMSNServer.exe I close them when ever I think to check my task manager. clientshell usually comes back right away so there isn't a reason to kill it.

I used to kill all except selected before I got clock on top, now I have to do it individually.

my experience (and i have tested it extensively) has taught me that obsessively killing running tasks does nothing for the battery life.

Personally i shop at Handango, and i'll tell you the main reason why. You can buy it or use the (free) lite version from the site. But if you do happen to pay for some software use Handango. Every piece of software that you buy from handango you get points. For so many points you can trade them in for plane miles, or free cash to spend at the Handango store. Trust me it's a great deal. Yes you have to spend some money, but they reward you for shopping with them and they always have the newest software. There is no time limit on getting those points up. I bought my software from them for my Black Berry, and for my Q. Also they are pretty good if you decide that you don't like a product.
