    Q Calendar - Appts

    Greetings
I find setting new appts on the Q is cumbersome,
I cannot put in the time that I want and also on my home screen
the date has the year first as example today it says

6/11/11 ---- any one know how to change it to say 11/11/6
also about the appt time setting on calendar

    Thanks so much

Go to Start > Setting > More > Regional Settings. There will be a listing for the type of date you want, change it there.

As far as appointments go, once you enter them with the Q calendar, if you snooze them for an hour etc...they will disappear. If you need to change a portion of the appointment, you CAN edit it by selecting it via the calendar. I suggest you use a 3rd party app like Xtreme Agenda that allows you to edit etc...Its not free to own but it is free to try. Find it on the EverythingQ home page under software. there are other apps as well that might suit your needs.

The Q can be very overwhelming as it was for me also, but stick with it and you'll learn all of the cool things it can do for you. Not to mention all of the neat games, music and videos you can play on it. Think about how much a portable DVD, MP3 a phone would cost you if you had to buy all of them seperately. And now you have an all in one device.

Take care and read this site, its the best resource for Q owners in my opinion.

How does Xtreme Agenda compare with Papyrus (or the other replacement apps)?

Agenda one seems to be the best one out at the moment. IMO
