    Problem with movie playback

Has anyone tried watching a full movie in MP4 format? I have a movie, 350mb stored on a card and when I try to watch it, it stutters really bad (both audio and video).

I switched over to Task Manager to view the CPU and it's maxed out at 100%. I read through the forum regarding CPU usage at:
    http://www.everythingq.com/forum/moto-q-9m/cpu-propblems-11467.html

I'm not sure if this is my problem because as soon as I close the Media Player, CPU goes back to single digits.

Playback on my MacBook pro is fine.

Could it be something with how I created the MP4? I followed the same steps I always use to create a movie for my iPod, using Handbrake.

Thanks for any advice you may have!

    Figured it out

I figured it out. There were two steps to a solution in watching full-length vids on my Q:

    (1) Don't bother trying to watch in Windows Media Player. Instead install TCPMP and the associated AAC plugin.

    (2) Using Handbrake, don't use the presets for DVD to iPod. Following the settings outlined in:
    http://www.everythingq.com/forum/mot...ems-11467.html
    works just fine!

i watch DIVX movies using TCPMP and I have to set the video settings to "low" for whatever reason the movies don't stream too easily. Not a big deal for me though, I can use my IPOD to watch videos on the go if I need to. You would think that it wouldn't be a problem for WM6!

I followed these instructions to install TCPMP on my Moto Q9m with Mobile 6:
    http://www.everythingq.com/forum/software/full-youtube-access-on-the-q-it-works-10251.html

Then I had to install the plugin for AAC, instructions I found here:
    http://www.pocketpcmag.com/forum/po...ote&REPLY_ID=51037&TOPIC_ID=19618&FORUM_ID=41

My video was very choppy using Windows Media Player until I installed and use TCPMP - now it plays GREAT!
