Pictures from the filming of the opening of Transformers 2 was filmed at Bethlehem Steel in Bethlem, PA the past three days. I took some shots and missed Tyrese Gibson? as he drove by ARGH!!!
They are grainy because they are shot at a high ISO.
Have to fix them later...
Explosions and helicopters are always good fun!
How long did you stay out there and how close could you all get to the set?

I was about 1/4 mile or so away.
There were real service men there with japanese patches on their arms. (This was for the opening scene which occurs in japan).
There was debris flying all over, etc. when the helicopters flew by.
Not great pics, but it was an experience.
I went for the lighting of the furnaces, lots of teen girls there to see Shia? Labouf and Tyrese Gibson.

So I splurged, I went out and got a Cannon Digital Rebel Xsi its amazing. I'll make sure I take lots of pictures from my Alaska trip coming up. (Olny 2.5 days left of work till I leave).

Oh with the camera package I bought I got a tripod, 18mm-55mm lens, 55mm-250mm lens and a bag. I also bought (well my brother got it) a 75mm-300mm lens. I guess my next big purchase (a few months from now) will be a remote and a flash
Going to alaska? get a vertical grip and lots of batteries.
