    Pandora?

Hi guys (and any techie girls too:) Does anyone know why I can't get the pandora dot com site on the Q's browser? I love it on my computer but it just won't load properly on the Q. (It's a site that I guess basically figures out your music tastes in some sort of genome thing and creates a "radio station" based on your likes, which it can figure out after just a few reactions to songs on the station you create). I've created a Mel Torme station (Mel, Satchmo, Sinatra, Ella, etc) and it sounds great on my comp, would love to be able to hear it on the Q too though.

    sprint & pandora

I recently discovered sprint will be offering a java client capable to play pandora internet radio (supported phones does not include the q, but i figured it might work if you install java runtime)...has anyone tested this on the q?

    Pandora Motorola Q 9c Sprint

Hello, folks, I'm a new member so please cut me some slack if this has been discussed before. Is there any way to get Pandora on the Q 9c? Does Sprint have any plans to add it to the list of phones that are compatible? Thanks!

Think this was asked a couple of days ago. Try a streaming radio program like Resco Radio or Mundu Radio and try to import the stations in. I have the CAB file for Resco Radio on my apps page if you want to try.

    Bump

Rather than simply posting my question, I searched the forums and found my question posted just about a year ago. So, now I'm wondering if anyone has an updated answer.

PJ mentioned a java client. Has anyone seen it? Used it?

    This is a great question!
I haven't been able to get it to work. That means very little, though. I am not very ambitious when it comes to messing with my phone.

Yes. Yes it is. Thank you Raw.
Does anyone have anything constructive to add?
I've tried Jbed and didn't get anything good from Pandora. I also tried Opera Mini and Pandora recognized that the IP address is from Norway. It says the service is only for US folks. Then, I tried Opera and it says that it doesn't support mobile browsers.

    Any success? Anyone? Anyone?

The Norway bit is caused by Opera Mini itself as their server is based there. To verify and bypass that issue, I used a US based proxy so it would force an accepted IP. I was able to finally load the page without interruption, with the exception the most vital element, the Flash applet =(

Thanks. I've been talking to folks and so far, I haven't found anyone who actually has Pandora working on their phone. Of course, the exception being iPhone. I'm not in the mood for that discussion. I'm getting enough of it in the office.
I'm not giving up hope, yet! If I find something or someone, I'll be sure to update this thread.

I also am jonesing for some Pandora on my Q9C.
Resco Radio is fine and all that, but costs $$$.
http://tuned.mobi is free and probably has more stations. I use that a lot, but I really want Pandora on my VZW Q9C.... :(

Likewise. I've found some good streaming alternatives, but I've spent years crafting my ideal stations on Pandora. I'd love to be able to take them with me everywhere.
