=======================Might need current Moto drivers?
i doubt it, the active sync itself shouldn't even matter.
moto driver for the phone or?
What does the wireless sync do?
================================It was just a thought...I work on and several different kinds for motorola phones...not just 'Q' models. I have never had a problem flashing upgrades. My first official motorola Q9m upgrade went smoothly. The early release Q9c ROM flash to my Q9m went even smoother. I have linked to the Motorola site with my Q9m flashed to Q9c and the upgrade is recognized as 'official'....If you keep having trouble try the 'pre-release' ROM...works smoothly!!
Sorry to be a pain but were do I find the pre release at? all the link on here seem to be broken?
I got it to work thanks for all your help everyone!! I dont what I did, but after I downloaded RSDlite it worked? Thanks again!!
I have not idea why it worked, but after the 5th attempt it updated and now I do have 6.1. I tried a different USB port, but I really don't think that was it.
if i have a sprint q9c and want to load the vzw upgrade(i have cricket).. would that work?
Not sure but if you have Cricket, I would assume that the radio's are differant and all. Does anyone else know if it would work?
The Motorola site has an update for the Sprint Q9c that has WM6.1:
http://direct.motorola.com/hellomot...trPhone=MOTO Q9c&strCable=Mini USB Data Cable
the OP is using a sprint Q which he/she flashed to CRICKET
the sprint update rom wont work
Anyone having problems with the camera or video camera freezing thier phone up? I'm running 6.1 and just noticed this.
no problems here
just used it actually
made about 15 pictures today with the Q (6.1), no problems....
Any difference from "unofficial" release to the official release?
Just wondering if I should update with the official release? Everything seems to be working fine with the "unofficial" release - but just wanted to make sure I have the most up to date software.
if anyone knows - please share
The Motorola Software Update app will tell you if you have the latest version of software.
they are the same 'file numbers'
its the same update
Gives Same Message with converted Q9m's
Gives Same Message with converted Q9m's.
Only diff is "flash" method - otherwise exactly the same ROM. Checked with Motorola updater = "no updates available."
