    " Newer Version of MS.NET Compact Framework "

    I have installed a few programs ( Smart Calc, etc ) and they will not run.
    Getting an error message that I need to upgrade MS.Net compact framework "


    Is this something I want to do ???
    How would I do it ???

    I've got 3.5, but unfortunatly someone gave me the cabso I dont know where to find it. I really havent noticed much change after I intalled it so at best it shouldnt cause any harm. Sorry I wasnt more help.

    so i'm getting my moto q in two days and experimenting with this before advancing to a more expensive model. is there any advice?:smile:

    read and then read some more...and experiment slowly. one thing at a time.... :)

    backup before experamenting or adding new programs. Look into Sprite backup for this.

    Microsoft officially release .NET Compact Framework 3.5 on 01/03/2008...
    It can be Downloaded here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...49-3c6b-42f1-9fd9-0041345b3385&DisplayLang=en

    This download requires you to install on PC then sync the Q. I have the .cab file to install directly to the Q, however, it is 2.7mb and I don't have a file server...
