What's the sound quality like?
in my experience you get what you pay for when it comes to BT headsets !!! i only use the Jawbone.
i have 2 of the new small ones and 1 original and they all are awesome !
I just received a replacement for my Q9h black w/ the new Q9h silver, and although I was sort of miffed by the replacement of the silver, I have grown to like it in just a few short hours. It's actually kind of classy looking, I don't know if the photos do it justice.

Okay, are you ready for this?
One of my members at a site I manage is an AT&T manager in California.
He is at home now, but he claims that in his store the boxes for the silver AT&T Q9h Global mention WiFi, and he has always assumed that the phones coming into his store have WiFi.
Of course, I'm going to get him to verify this when he's in the store again.
But in the mean time, could one of you purchasers of the new silver phone confirm or deny that the box mentions WiFi? Is the guy recalling correctly or incorrectly?
aaaaaaaand here we go again.....
LOL.... I am so sorry, but that's what the guy said.
He's normally reliable, so I am puzzled.
i havent read anything about that yet...
i think he might be mistaken but let us know
How would I go about getting my black on exchanged for this? I haven't even had this phone a year yet, and I know I didn't get any kind of extended warranty on it (not sure as to what the regular warranty is.)
Can you please post what the FCC ID number is of your phone? It is located on a sticker under the battery.
Finally got it
Just received the Q9h Cannon Grey 6.1, which by the way is available on AT&T's Premiere website (for business users).
After setting up ActiveSync to our Exchange Server and downloading Windows Live Search, I make the following observations:
1) It is a good looking phone, not at all girly (no offense).
2) The key backlight is too dim to use unless in total darkness
3) The GPS radio is definitely much better, using WLS can acquire fix in 20 seconds (and inside close to windows) vs 4 minutes with my black 6.0 version.
4) In sunlight the keypad looks to have a green hue (must be the anodizing)
5) Overall feel of the OS seems much faster.
Does anyone know if the silver faceplate can be purchased anywhere?
Regarding point 3: Didn't the 6.1 upgrage add assisted GPS? If it did, then that would be the reason for getting a faster fix. I don't think the hardware changed as far as the GPS goes.
probably to soon for that
but keep your eyes open at cnn.cn they carry all that stuff
That's what i was afraid of...just got a replacement black/silver faceplate that had about 5 or 6 non-working keys from them...working on a replacement.
that's the standard black with silver trim, i think he is talking about the new silver Q at&t is selling.
I have never seen the silver phone's keyboard to know for sure, but I have no issues at all with the black phone's keyboard lights.
