Are you alive Brian...?
lol my thoughts exactly... long overdue for an update for us stuck on wm 6.0
Ill be trying to get back to an XT update, I have Extreme Agenda 3.3 about finished up, and need to do about a weeks development on FairwayWatch for WM Pro, and then Ill try to address new features and problems... Sorry, havent been around this site much.... Too much
development going on...
And I have the bootloader screen of death so I cant even test on my Q right now.. I have my first one in the mail back to me, and am researching the fix.... UGHHH...
glad to see you around Brian!
(hopefully there will be a smartphone version of FairwayWatch:wink
Brian I've got another one for you to add to your probably already long list...
(I dont think ive seen this listed anywhere else)
I just received a SMS message from a "private" number.. that did not show up in XT... even though it was just a lame AT&T marketing message, i figured i'd mention it
not sure if this belongs here or not, but i was wondering if there was a way to change settings on the phone (Q9h), so that when i hit the dedicated message button, it will take me straight to eXtreme Text
it will take you to the program, but you still have to chose txt or outlook after that.
its a setting in extreme text.
What patience! Nice job.
oh because of my refrain from saying using the search?
When i press the button it says "error opening the shortcut or locating target file"
Did you move your "messaging" out of your start menu folder? That could cause that...
emoticons in text msgs
Hi, I'm a new motoq9c user and this is my first smart phone so-to-speak. I have a question but I'm not sure that I'm in the right area of the forum. On my old phone which was a flip phone I can't remember what kind at the moment I think it was a Samsung.. not sure. .well anyway there was this feature with the text software that when I sent text to people I could insert these emoticons.. there were a bunch of diff ones, a dancing one, angry, happy, crying, flowers, etc.. there were these little computer generated figures that moved and I could send them inside a text. Does anyone know if there's any type of software out there for the motoq9c phone like this? I miss that.. I like jazzing up my text msgs..
Any info would be appreciated..
Would the folks receiving the text see them too or just you? In Extreme Text (which is the application this thread is about so you are kinda in the right place ) if you type a ":" and a ")" it changes into a smiley within Extreme Text. I don't think it changes how it looks on the recipient's phone, though.
Well these can be seen by me and the person I'm sending it to.
Maybe this was just something built into the other phone as standard.
These weren't the basic smileys.. these were like little stick dancing
moving icons.. my phone doesn't have anything like that and I thought it would.. hmm.. Thanks
XT is really still developed? Problems accumulate, I'm not that satisfied anymore...
prosper? I am not following.
I am disappointed to be honest that no viable solution for selecting contacts has been resolved.
you're not following because you also have problems? is my non-native english misunderstanding something now?
I meant to say are questioning why this product is still being developed?
no .. i was wondering if it is still developed, since brian wanted to bring an update .. but nothing happened :frown:
