On all mp4's or just a specific one of few. Could be corrupt. wmp and tcpmp play any of mine fine.

at least from every site that i have tried from. i'm getting ready to try a different site and see what happens. i don't feel like dropping 30 bucks on a product that doesn't work then have to try and fight to get a refund.

ok, tried opening the file using tcpmp and after selecting the file it just closed tcpmp

wmp opened the file and played it, but no sound. couldn't even adjust the wmp volume control...sound was already set at 85% and my main volume is set on high.

How is your tcpmp video set? Mine is set Smooth Zoom 50% and direct draw.

Is it installed to Device or SD Card? I remember some versions don't like playing from SD Card and will shut down.

I don't have any other suggestions. Mine will play almost anything...even WMV. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I'd recommend S2P from ac. It's easily the best music player I've ever used on a winmo device. It was free for years but now it's $4.99 on marketplace.
support MP3/MP4/M4A/AAC/WMA/WAV music files (MP4/M4A/AAC requires WMP has proper decoder built-in)
