    Motorola Q several questions...

Hey all! I know the Motorola Q is ...ehhh kinda old? But I just bought mine brand new about a year ago. Still use it, can't afford a new phone just yet.
I talked to Verizon, and the rep said she's heard a few people managed to upgrade it to WM6. She said she doesn't know how, but they did.
If anyone knows, and has accomplished this, please tell me!! :-(
Second: If upgrading to WM6 isn't possible, does anyone know the latest WM5 version?

    Thanks in advance

No WM 6 for the original Q. As far as I know, there is only one version of WM5 for smartphone. The Q is definitely kinda old, but I think it is still a good little phone.

    Latest WM5 OS

You can go to the Motorola site and see if your WM 5.0 is the most recent release.

Their tool will check your phone over USB and let you know if you need to apply any updates:

    https://globalrepairtools.motorola.com/serviceandrepair/device/index/en-us/softwareupdate/

Edit: FYI - I had to use IE, tool did not work in Firefox

Edit2: If they prompt you about being under warranty, I just entered the most recent purchase date they allowed - the date is not verified
