yes it will
you could also try Palringo.... its FREE and u can us AIM,Yahoo!, MSN etc.
hasn't failed me yet...
look for slick
its the best one i have seen yet
and ive tried octro, aim+, palringo, and manuy others
heres the link
on the octro website...do i download the .cab or the msi?
you can download the .cab and save it to the phone. Execute it from there.
slick is my favorite.. i tried all others on my Q and on my old PPC6800 none stack up against slick.
I leave the OZ messenger when im busy or not in the IM mood since it doesnt keep a steady connection
Slick is great, but man, it's hard on the battery!
im looking for a free stable AIM program that uses data.....ive read all the responses but i just want someone to give me a name and website of a free one that uses data....thanks a lot!
Palringo seems stable to me... http://www.palringo.com/
Slick works well for me. I have a copy of the .cab file on my apps page, as well as a link to the program's homepage.
is the site and there is a forum there should you have any questions
octro requires you to have a google or jabber, but then if you go to menu -> options or preferences (i forgot which) -> the legacy acounts, scroll over to AIM and put in your sn and password.
lately however, octro has been having some problems with AIM regarding the AIM transport it signs in.
