    Moto Q 9c and Youtube/ Myspace Videos

I know this is a stupid question but there any way to be able to play Youtube and Myspace video on a Q 9C with IE or Opera? Or any other browser out there? That is one of the only limitations I have when browsing websites is the lack of video support. Thanks for any help out there on this subject.

acutally you need to follow these steps here
    http://www.everythingq.com/forum/software/updated-youtube-files-10-19-07-a-11290.html
    install the TCPMP player
    then install the flashbundlecab file
make sure they are installed in the same location either on the device or on the storage card
reboot then you can watch youtube vids...but make sure you are in classic view when you go to youtube on your Q

as far as myspace vids im not sure

and you need IE to run the youtube vid program NOT opera

No Opera TCPMP... this, TCPMP is relatively new, right? So I mean like, what's the deal? Could not the brain who made this program have made it to be compatible with Opera? Cuz I gotta level with you here: IE compared to Opera is child's play.

Opera Mini is free and it is infinitely better than PIE. It requires a java program to run, but you can get both for free. i will never go back to PIE for regular web browsing.

    Hhmmm..

I had this problem solved on my 1st gen Q, but it's back on the Q9c... That is, i get the save, play, link prompt when I click on a youtube video -- but when i click on save as -- I get the "file cannot be viewed on this device error.'

Anyone get this to work yet? Maybe i'll contact the developer and see how it's going....

    Thanks,

    Matt!

    Sweetness....

    Ok,

As suspected, my FLASH VID association was already checked (it's odd that yours wasn't) -- anyway, bummed that I saw that - i rememebered something -- the good 'ol uncheck and check routine....

I did that for the Flash Assoc - and we are golden!!

    Thanks for reminding...

And, I found a kick as video you can use to test it with:

    HERE: http://youtube.com/watch?v=oYIYb9FGubo

    Thanks again,

    Matt!

the flashcab is only built for the sites listed in the site list that appears in your start menu after you install

recheck it should have it in your start menu and if not there to go
(either device or storage card depending on where you installed it) \program files\TCPMP\sites\videosites.htm

    that is the list

most freezing or " white screen " issues with TCPMP can be tied back to a low/dead battery
