    Mobile Banking

There is an icon for Mobile Banking on the http://mobile.vzwapp.com portal.

Haven't tried it yet since they don't support my bank, but thought I'd give you guys a heads up.

Entirely too many to list... Notable ones include Wachovia, Chase, Citi Bank, Regions, and SunTrust

there are also many more, and includes even credit unions. The list seems to update itself every time you access it so new banking institutions are probably being added regularly.

    I haven't.

But my credit union had banking-to-go. I log in to their mobile site and tranfer money and review transactions....very handy.

One of the largest banks HSBC is not very mobile friendly. Beyond the normal user name and password they also require an additional password using a keyboard that appears on the screen that cannot be accessed by the Internet Explorer. I can use this on my Pocket PC via some alternative programs (e.g. Opera) but would like to access on my Q.

have you tried it using skyfire.
also splash money is a good app. not free, but a 30 day trial.

I think Skyfire processes site requests through their servers and then presents the site to you, so you could potentially be giving Skyfire your banking information, too. Not saying that you shouldn't use it, but you should be aware of where your information travels and decide from there.

I tried Splashmoney awhile back and it didn't work with that secondary keyboard that I mentioned, just with the typical user name and password input.

I downloaded and tried Skyfire and it does get me there but as "cindra" said above, do you really want to use a program that accesses your banking information through its own servers? I'm sure the Skyfire people are trustworthy but a self contained application would be better. Thanks for your recommendations.

I totaly agree. With my bank you have to answer 4 question that i set up to allow a pc or a phone access to my account. I guess it sets a cookie so you only have to do it once per computer or phone. Skyfire would not be able to do it, I hope.

BOA has a useful mobile site for a quick balance check or bill pay.

I changed banks from Wachovia to Bank of America simply because BOA's mobile site was more accessible from my Q. Wachovia only has mobile banking for Verizon and Alltel, I have Sprint. Wachovia advertises mobile banking but if you don't read the fine print (like I didn't) you won't know whether it's with your carrier or not.

At least with Citi, support is very sketchy. Only supports select cards, and even then only on Blackberries.

If I really need to, I can do my banking from their main website for now.

I'm like that guy in the commercial who is paying bills during the previews at the theater---I so enjoy a useful mobile banking site.

Pretty sure this is spam but there is no report link anymore. Past experience suggests that Chris will check in a couple months from now. Trying to be loyal.

Months? There still is a report feature... use the exclamation point beneath the user CP in the bottom panel.
