Good guess sir that's exactly what I want to do. I'd like to use it as my text message alert. It's really short (woo hoo somebody sent me a text message) I laugh everytime I hear it !!

    Thanks

(FIRST POST - so please don't flame me too much)

I got an mms ringtone. I pressed object view and was given the option of saving to my main memory or my storage card. I tried both ways and still don't see the sound file in my list of available ringtones when i access the sound settings. i have a Q9c if that makes a difference.

what am i doing wrong? any ideas?

Move it to the applicationdata/sounds folder took me a while to find it but it worked from there.
