Me? Lame? What? So, I'm a lurker... I've learned a few things from this site, and decided to post. I'm a 27 yr old first time cell phone owner. Meaning, my LITTLE brother gave me his Q for Christmas. Hahaha. I 'knew' these things were cool...but dang its intimidating when they do soooo much. Anyhoo, I look forward to learning more from y'all fabulous people. TY
Okay, cool. Thanks for the *welcomes* too, BTW. I like this board, its pretty fast paced. I belong to a few others and its almost more like a chat.
Yep. Most of us have become very good friends. We are on Twitter and Facebook, so if you are looking for social fun, follow us there!
Welcome to Qville! Where we stalk each other, either here or on Twitter. Enter at your own risk. The Q is your best friend and when you get it just right you will wonder how on earth you lived without it!
hahahaha I was trying not to say something about his being 8 wasn't that long ago. But you beat me to it!
Hahaha, yeah my husband is 30 and he's getting his first this week. You were 8, gah, my oldest DD is 9 and I was thinking of getting her one in a couple of years...for emergencies.
My 3 kids each got one when they started middle school (6th grade) and travel camp. Started with a basic pre-paid (in case it got lost...) amd saw how that went. They all have them now, with no problems. (16/13/11)....... Good luck!
Welcome to the Eq! FWIW....I got my son (10) his first cell phone, Samsung A737 slider. Just a few months ago. Actually the same time i upgraded to the Q9h. I'm glad he has it. I can get ahold of him when he's not with me. And we text eachother all the time.
Awesome, Sherri, thats sorta what I was thinking. Mine are 4/7/9 so I thought I still had a while to go. Now I wont feel so bad
I'm stuck in my contract ofcourse. But i may switch him over to a pre paid phone next. He just doesn't make enough calls right now to even put a dent in the 1400 minutes i have (just downsized to 700min). He might use 20 minutes out of a month. And i certainly don't use the rest. So with in just a few months i now have about 2500 rollover minutes.
