    when you hold the scroll wheel in and scroll up is it all the way to the top of the volume?

    There is a registry hack in the Moto Q Hacks forums to raise speaker, mic & BT volume.

    Small changes are the key!! It's a trial & error process.

    If this is your first registry hack follow the instructions in post #1
    http://www.everythingq.com/forum/moto-q-hacks/motorola-q-hacks-1037.html
    I use option C.

    Here is what is posted in this thread after #11:
    http://www.everythingq.com/forum/moto-q-hacks/all-hacks-tips-here-23134.html

    INcrease volume levels

    default

    HKLM\Software\Motorola\BPCTRLR\WaveDev\BaseGains

    BluetoothPathGain=0
    EmuPathGain=8
    HandsetPathGain=8
    MonoHdstPathGain=8
    SpkrphnPathGain=8
    StereoHdstPathGain=8

    Just change the ones you want louder to 9 or 10. Don't go any higher before you soft reset & try it out.

    Tried to use this with 6.1 and found that the BaseGains section was missing entirely. Is it elsewhere in this version? My speaker sounds fine, but BT and headphones are a whisper. Tried searching, but I'm on my Q so it's slow going. I apologize in advance if I missed it.

    If you have Resco Registry, under the right soft key there is a find option, search for basegains. I did this on my WM5 Q and to took me right there. Hopefully your WM6.1 has the same title...

    Try this one for the Q9H Global running 6.1

    HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\MM\Audiogain

    edit the reg path

    HKLM\Software\Motorola\BPCTRLR\WaveDev\BaseGains

    the higher the number is the louder.
