JBED - Anyone have the files?

Hi. I read a little bit about jbed - basically it gets you java on WM6.

Then i can install OM4? SWEET!

I know I can get the files from across them web but I either:
    1. have to make an account
    or
    2. Dont trust the site

Anyone have the jbed CAB that is nice and easy to download, then I suppose I just go to "mini.opera.com" on my phone and download?

How does OM compare to PIE? What are the pro's and con's?

Pros: OM4 is much, much faster than PIE, and with OM4, you can load up the desktop version (as opposed to a stripped down mobile phone version) of a webpage and zoom in and out as you navigate and surf (much like what the Safari browser does for the iPhone).

    No significant cons for me.

Price aside, which is better? The paid version of Opera Mobile or the free Opera Mini 4?

Opera Mini works better for me - faster than Opera Mobile. Opera Mobile was still faster than PIE. Also, I don't think Opera Mobile had the capability to zoom in and out like Opera Mini.

Am I the only one that has constant login problems with Operamini? i cant log in to any of my email accounts at mail.com nor can i log into myspace.com

PIE allows me to log in but we all know how much slower it is :frown:

Yea I have the same problem. Facebook won't accept my login info, but I am sure it's right.

Also, is there a way to add and OM4 shortcut to the start menu? I know it's one extra click but I want it to have its own icon.

I've found there is no perfect solution and use Opera mini for most of my browsing but also use PIE and JB5 for some stuff.

I used to use Opera Mobile 8.65 while in beta for 6 months or so but gave it up when they wanted money. I did like it better than PIE and yes there are problems with logging in with Mini. I think that's because of Opera's server translating web pages and the info sent and received to the actual site,

Copy and paste the CAB file (either thru Windows Mobile Device..or.. via the Mini SD Card), and then just launch the CAB and install it on your Q.

When I downloaded your file it setup three files setup, and two other files. Then it ask me if I want to extract. Which file and do I extract the files. Which file in particular do I transfer. Is there anyway I can send the files via email to my phone, bypassing the need for a computer connection.
Is there an install program???? Do i cut and paste and what and which files do I cut and paste

Transfer the entire CAB file(don't extract anything) over to your Q. Then once it's on your Q, launch it by double clicking it... it will then install onto your Q.
