    I've tried everything

So I've found answers to this question, but maybe I'm just stupid and can't do it for whatever reason. My moto q9m has locked up, won't go past the verizon screen no matter what I do. I read some of you saying to hold down the d pad and the power button and then let go of the power button when it boots up, but all it does is boot up and sit there on the verizon logo. if someone can talk to me like i'm stupid and thoroughly explained to me what I need to do to reset this puppy, i would really appreciate it!

I've tried that now, and it just does the same thing. just holding all three down at the same time should start the master reset?

there most be something severely wrong with mine or something because I'm trying this over and over and it just starts up at the verizon screen and doesn't ever say anything about it being the first time I've booted the phone on. I'm fairly intelligent and I'm understanding what you guys are saying, but nothing is happening. hmmm....I may be screwed, out of warranty, and asurion is boning me because I used my insurance about 5 months back.

This is to reset the Q9H. For the other Q's,

    1)Turn phone off.
2)Press in the center of dial pad (silver button on front of phone...some people were pushing the scroll wheel on side...)
3)While holding this down, press in on the power button. Keep holding both buttons until prompted to master reset.

Let me know if this works!

    MINE!

Only the Q9H's use the EZ button. Everything else is as I posted a few posts back...

Yoo hoo! RB! Does this one count?

My phone gets into a state where Windows Mobile won't load. The fix I found is to remove the battery for more than 10 seconds, then reinstall it and turn the phone on. Hope this helps.
