It's been mentioned before that going into Settings....Sounds....and turning the keypad tones off helps speed up the general interface. Give it a try.

I've been reading the forum on this topic and there seems to be two classes of complaints:
    • Motorola Q9m runs kinda slow
    • Motorola Q9m runs UNBEARABLY slow
#1: I've had my Q9m for several months. The response time is usually a few seconds. It's not as fast as some of the other SmartPhones out there, but not a big deal.

#2: This is in contrast to when I have the UNBEARABLY slow problem. It's intermittent. When it happens, it takes many MINUTES to respond to a keystroke... and some things don't work at all.

If your problem is in the first category, I think it's just the nature of the Q9m. You might try the overclocking trick.

If your problem is in the second category, I think this is a real bug that Verizon and/or Motorola needs to address. Be sure to escalate to their support teams and demand it be examined.
