Iris Browser by Torch Mobile is a decent substitute. Very stable. It's what I currently use.

Yes, it has tabbed browsing. It also provides a "Page overview" mode, thought I shut that off coz it caused a bit off a lag when scrolling down. Also, it allows navigation using a cursor. I prefer that method of navigating URL's and fields.

Tabbed works good...though my single core mind doesn't use it much. Posting this now from Q9M(c) using it in tabbed mode.

I find it to be comparable. Skyfire for me felt slow (and I'm NYC most of the week). Also, I just prefer Iris interface/navigation to skyfire.

It's decently fast on my end as well. I found it slowed the Q down when loading data-heavy pages though, like the regular EQ page.

I got to try IE6 and I can tell ya' It's not all that, or anything really.
The zoom is really crappy and not a "zoom' as Skyfire or Opera 9.5.

    Don't ask how I'm using Opera 9.5
