Installing .exe files from MAC?

    Installing .exe files from MAC?

    Hello, I just got my Q. Been a Mac user from the beginning. This is my first Windows OS ever.

    Here's my question: Can I install .exe files using Missing Sync from my Powerbook?

    I like the Q so far but want to add some better applications.

    Your help is greatly appreciate

    Installing EXE Files

    If the EXE files are Windows Mobile executables (some simple programs are distributed that way), and if Missing Sync allows copying files to the Q, then you should be able to.

    If the EXE files are installers that use ActiveSync, probably not unless you can run the EXE files somehow and Missing Sync supports ActiveSync's Add/Remove Programs command.

    I'm not a Mac person, but I know that you can boot Windows on a Mac. Can you also run real ActiveSync in there? If so, then you could probably use the installer EXEs.
