In Call Screens! Ok so I figured it out! (with piecing some posts here together and going on a hunch) This is for you Verizon Q9c owners... In Coming Call Screen: VZW_Calling.png In Call Screen: vzw_image.png Using Total Commander copy your new files with these very names to '\windows' and overwrite the existing files. Reboot Your screens have now changed. If you want the dialpad on top do not install the dialpad cab. Build it in to the screens and create a dialpad.gif file and put it in the '\windows' directory To get the dialpad on the 'dialing' screen head to: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai Navigate to: ':MSCdial' click on 'banner image' and change the path to: '\windows\dialpad.gif' from '\windows\16_brick_131.gif' hit ok Now since not having the dialpad.cab file installed there will be the verizon logo on your in call screen where the dialpad.cab install would have put that image. Here is what you do to get rid of that. First, create a 2x2 pixel image the same color as your background you are using for the in call screen. Save it as 'Carrierlogo.gif'. Copy it to '\windows' and overwrite the existing file. Now you wont have the Verizon logo over top your in call screen. Reboot All this was done using Total Commander, for both the registry edits AND moving files around. The default file manager wont allow you to overwrite ROM files. Thats it! Below are my screens.
