Who's this Santa person everyone's been talking about? He's never come to my house. My presents come from the store - all eight.

I ask him for a lower interest rate on my house. Dont get behind him up there, he had empty beer cans in the back of his sleigh. Rodolf's nose is red for a reason.

I'm thinkin it's dafoxs fault. He side swiped Santa, and a bunch of gifts probably fell out.

Hahaha... I might just ask him for a ride then if my plane turns out to be a boring 16hr flight.

One per night. Chanukah celebrates the Festival of Lights. The Syrian army destroyed the Temple, but Judah Macabee and his brother helped the Jews destroy the Syrian army. When the Jews went to rebuild the temple, there was only enough oil for one night. The miracle was that it lasted for 8 nights.

Modern day Jews celebrate the holiday for 8 days to commemorate this miracle. We celebrate with the exchange of gifts, and make foods that use oil. Latkes-or "potato pancakes" are one of the most popular foods. My kids love them, but they are so much work that I only make them at Chanukah...

Aren't you glad you asked?? ;)

Bravo! Couldn't have said it better myself. I might have to make some latkes for my friends next week.

As for 8 gifts, my family does smaller things until the last night. It's not like you get an iPod one night, a DVD player one night, a TV one night....at least, not for me! Ah, to dream...
