I'm Back! with a Computer Question......

    Hey Guys:

I have a Western Digital External 2TB HDD. What I want to do is have both my MacBook Air and my Dell XPS m1730 simultaneously. What I was thinking was maybe adding a Bluetooth Doggle to to the External HDD. And having both connect from Bluetooth. Whould that be possibly or is my only option connecting it to my router?

    thanks in advance

That's a nice looking hard drive.

You are trying to connect to the HD at the same time using both laptops?

check out windows home server. They have a free 120 day trial. You can install this on any old machine you have laying around and plug your drive into it. Its something every home network should have. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. Mine has ran flawlessly just set it up and forget about it. It can make a image of each pc on your network and does daily backups all on its own. Also gives you the ability to run any pc remotely on your network.

I'm thinkin M$ should pay me for this ad ... lol

Thanks, Chris. I got it free too. My brother knocked over my 1TB (Which was full) and it was under warranty. So they sent me a 2TB as a replacement free of charge.
