How To Send Email Using Sprint's Server

My ISP blocks sending of all email unless it goes through one of their servers. This is a problem when using my Q9C for checking email - I set up my regular email address as a POP3 account on the 9C and can receive just fine, but can't send. Very frustrating, until I ran across this thread which explains how to use Sprint's server to send your email and have it appear as coming from your regular (not Sprint) account: http://www.everythingq.com/forum/sprint/sending-mail-from-sprintpcs-servers-11432.html#post76535

That post was written with the original Q in mind; there are some slight differences in how to accomplish this on the Q9C, but take it one step at a time and you should be able to set it up. Just remember to *only* change the OUTGOING, or SMTP server information in your email account settings on your Q9C.
