    How to do a hard/soft reset?

    I've tried to determine the ways to do these two things;

    soft reset and hard/master reset.

    My guess is that a soft reset is to power on/off the Q. I have found references to master reset using the "action" key but no reference as to which key that might be. I know it's a sequence, can anyone give a clear simple explanation?

    Have you tried going into the start menu, then system tools, and selecting master reset?

    I thought there was a hardware/key sequence to use to do this. If not, then that's the easiest of all.

    The only other reset I have read about is pressing the center button key (in the middle of the navigation keys) while turning the phone on.:wacko:

    This is correct, HOWEVER, it will only work if the firmware update has been applied.

    I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to bring it forward a bit just in case. I've had to do it just now. It does work on the Black Q.
