Thanks, Scott! (I'd sooner remove my own kidney than open the Q, but, hey, whatever helps!) :tounge:

1st time posting. I just picked up a used Alltel Q on Ebay. Works great, but the seller used a stock photo in the listing neglected to say that they he had made a poor attempt at painting the housing cyrillian blue. I was going to return it, but I got it so cheap and found these on cnn. The video was a great help and I'm sporting a sharp (albeit used) Q that I've invested $35 to get up and running.

I came here expecting to see how I would fix the mylar that is lifting off of my Q, and while this tells me how to take the Q apart, I would rather not have to go this route if it is not necessary to either fix the mylar that is on already and maybe it just needs to snap in place, or a replacement can be snapped into place without removal of phone. The link someone gave me on the other thread is basically a whole keyboard replacement...

Here is the part I need to fix or replace.

The left side where the green call button is where it is lifting off and it doesn't seem to snap into place. Occassional a white plastic tab will also lift which is located under the mylar below the green call key. Not sure if this is just supposed to tuck under the casing or if it too needs to snap into one of those white dots under the mylar...
