To delete it on the Q Global, highlight the account you wish to delete, then hit the right soft key, menu, and its the 2nd one, "Delete". Hit it. Done and done.

    Mexiken,

I tried this. Also tried killing all apps and rebooting before doing this. Neither worked.

on the q9c, when you have your inbox up, go to menu/ switch accounts/ highlight the one to delete/ menu/ delete.

Sorry, I didn't notice there was a whole 2nd page of stuff.

That sounds REALLY weird that it doesn't delete. It sure does with mine. Try calling AT&T, because it almost sounds like it might be a software issue, and maybe they know a workaround, or even give you a new phone.

On the Q9h, you have to be on the "Account Picker" screen, the screen that shows all of your e-mail accounts. On that screen, highlight the account you want to delete, hit Menu, then Delete.

If Delete is not an option there, then it was probably the first account that you set up. In this case, you need to go to the Start Menu, then XM Settings, then hit Menu, and chose either Re-register or Reset All Data.

Amazing news. I have my Q9h in my hand, and it does work. If it was the first e-mail account that was set up on the phone it won't work, and I told the OP where to go in that case. :2cool:
