how to backup MOTO Q contacts

    how to backup MOTO Q contacts

    ive been searching thru the net how to backup my contacts calendars and found that MPT doesnt work on MOTO Q, i have to use the active sync 4.5 which i have with Outlook express but the problem is i really dont know how :frown: i open my active sync and outlook and still dont know what to do btw im using Outlook Express 6 can somebody help me and post a step by step guide.

    outlook express doesnt work with the Q

    or just copy the PIM.vol file from your Q to the PC

    @N99hockey

    oh i see abt outlook, i tried copying pim.vol then to experiment i deleted some contacts and copy the original pim.vol back, the problem is that i think it currupts wm6 when i copy it back, and restart my start button wont function anymore i tried that a lot of times stil that happens

    do you have a Q9 ?.. you almost must if you are running WM6, we have a Q9 area where i can move this to, if you want.

    MOTO Q8 BIGBIG PROBLEMS CONTACTS Backup etc

    its made in singapore :( says on the back of the CP now ive tried the JEYO MOBILE COMPANION 1.1 and when i go to COntacts -Phone memory its says MOBILE DEVICE NOT CONNECTED its giving me a headache but my phone is detected by ACTIVESYNC 4.5 :( .

    please do help i have 100 contacts here and really need to backup and edit

    BTW my OS in my pc is Windows XP sp2

    its might be because you are using a Q8
    just might not be compatable

    Now i have installed Microsoft Outlook and it can see my contact its up to me how to study MS Outlook :laugh2:. regarding Jeyo Mobile Companion It really looks cool i think it can access the contact list on the sim I will try to search over n over and still hope you can guys can help me how to make Jeyo mobile to work on me or other softwares that do like jeyo mobile.

    since you have been in contact with them most maybe you can let them know about the Q8 and if they have heard of the problem before

    JOYA MOBILE COMPANION ROCKS!!! which i got the idea from n99hockey thanks a lot i dunno if it makes sense it began to work when i turn off the my firewall
