How to activate prepaid verizon on Moto Q

Hello all, i am at wits end on this. My girlfriend bought a moto q on eBay but when she tried *22898 or *228 it will not let her program the phone nor transfer the number from alltel to the Verizon moto q. i read on here that some was able to get it to work on prepaid BUT they never showed how it was done or what code to put in to at least get a new number on it. can anyone help me in any way??

yeah cause she don't want to be tied down in a contract and want to use the phone that she paid for. i wish there was some back door way to transfer her alltel number to the phone

you might want to try to contact the seller and see if there is something on their end or possibly return it and try something like boost mobile or one of those month to month carriers

that will not work either, she doesn't want to manage to accounts, she wants to use the alltel services she is using now on the Q, she don't want to get another number cause her whole family and friends keep up with her on the alltel number so only thing is the just toss it in the trash cause she got it from www.mobileliquidations.com and they have a 7 day return policy that has expired. i tried to go to verizon website and transfer ESN but get the rate plan error so its useless

Page Plus is a Verizon MVNO PM Me and I can get it activated on them. She can even port over her old number.
