How do I put all my contacts/phonebook info onto my storage card from the phone's

    internal memory?

I'm about to let my old, wore out Q9c go the light, and I want to put all my contact info into the Q9c that I'm gonna replace it with.

What file do I need to go into and copy/paste onto my storage card?

Mike can you help a very novice user out!

My Q9c died a slow death. I was able to copy the pim.vol to my memory card. My phone was under warranty so they sent me a replacement. I now have the my memory card in and I need to know how to proceed from here. Do I copy the file to a file on the phone? I am not following your previous instruction about total commander. Did I mention I have blonde high lights?:dft012:wink

File Manager that comes with the phone won't copy pim.vol from the card to the phone. Total Commander is a free file manager that will do the job. Rename the pim.vol on the phone to pim1.vol or something first. Copy file. Reboot.

    TC download link. http://www.bruceberryhill.com/q/tcmdphone.cab

There are quite a few threads on this here. Search. You can call if you want but it might be faster to read other threads.

    1. run TC

    2. locate the pim file on your card (with the contacts)

    3. select file > copy

    4. A screen will pop up. Make the location look like this \

    5. select Ok (left soft key)

    6. It will ask if you want to overwrite, Select yes.

    7. exit TC

    8. reboot device

    4. Arrow down to Tree. Press OK. Arrow up to '/'. Press Select. Press OK.

Something like that. I do it by muscle memory.
