Think OP said it is 2 text boxes. That folder just cant disapear on its own.
Hmm, the only Application Data folder I have is on my storage card, is this the correct one?. I assume it should be in Documents & Settings like in normal Windows? But I also checked Program Files and My Documents.
Wrong one. It should be in the root folder, all by itself. Did you delete anything before this happened. Need to know that first.
Nope, haven't touched the filesystem until this point.
Yep, the bottom one says -1, nothing else.
when you open file manager, what is the first 5 things listed?
you dont see this?

Nope... looks like I am missing a lot. Worrisome.
Hmm, just went into it again and now it looks much closer, but no Application Data still. Looking again, it seems that I was in the windows directory the first time. Oops!
Documents and Setting
Add the Application Data folder then a sub folder for "Home"
Or copy and paste the one on your card to the main folder in file manager.
Hrm, if I try to create a new folder and rename I get this error:
Cannot rename New Folder: Access is denied.
Make sure your mobile device has sufficient memory, that the file is not set as read-only, and that you have permission to copy this file type.
If I copy from storage card, it says there is already an application data folder and asks if I want to overwrite. I did, and it didn't have any problems copying, but I still can't see it. I do have "Show hidden files and folders" selected in folder options.
Ok, go into settings of file manager and see if the Hide files boxes are checked. if so uncheck them.
One other thing, if you sync it to your PC ,and explore the phone, do you see the folder.
Done; still not showing up, either on the phone or on my computer. Made sure to exit, reopen, and refresh, just to be certain.
Do you have Total commander? If not, install it. It's a file explorer with balls. I dont have the link. It's on RB's app page or google it.
I'm running out of ideas.
Where should I be looking in Total Commander for my device? Don't see it in the drive list.
And hey, your ideas are a heck of a lot further than I would have gotten on my own! If I end up having to restore, it won't be the end of the world.
Total Commander should go on your phone?
aha, I didn't see the pocket version link.
But application data is still not there.
Mine looks like this. Try going here, scrolling down, then scrolling up. My Application Data folder gets "lost" until I do this...
