  3. I was told to stay away from vent mounts because of the heat or cold air constantly blowing on the phone....i have enough on my windshield/ dash with my gps and satellite radio.

I was just gonna say buygpsnow.com has quite a few mounts. I got a windshield mount when I bought my Navibe through them.

i had one of those for my ipaq and was great..but then it broke!
i guess i turned and rotated it so many times i just snapped it :tounge:

and for the Q i thought it would be to far to see the screen since its much smaller...

Yea..I could see with a ton of use how it could. Like the release button being pressed too many times! It was only $5 though with the gps purchase.

I drive a Jeep so the mount shoves my Q almost in my face! Actually it's almost parallel with the steering wheel. I could see where if you drove a caddie the 12" extender would still keep the Q about 3' from ya..haha! :laugh2:

haha yea if they had an extender then i guess it wouldnt be that bad

i guess anything can break if you use it enough...

good point rb..... i just got back from a 6 hour trip last night and used the gps on my q9c the whole way and it never left the cup holder.. works great considering it speaks to you everything you need to know and theres really no need to look at the screen

  13. yeah but sometimes the coffee spills on the q, maybe more than once...:tounge:
