I can only dance after a given blood alcohol level is reached :-/

At one point I tinkered around with import cars, but I defied nature and reproduced. Now that is on the backburner for now.

So we have found that while we have an aptitude to understand computers only 1 of us can dance without being intoxicated! That is hilarious!!

well craig i happen to like "soccer" and politics.

It was a big deal for me as a kid to go to the polling place. I really liked it and still do. I dont like using diebold machines to vote and in our area some places are becoming mandatory mail in. What the heck are the poll volunteers going to do now?

i have only missed one primary in 1984 because i was in labor at the hospital. My son always knows what day of the week he was born on lol. Primary elections have moved to February now.

Snowboarding is my hobby of choice . . of course, down here in Atlanta, my opportunities to indulge in my passion are few and far between (though it was snowing here tonight . . . go figure). Lately, I've had to settle for day trips to NC to get my fix (heading up for a long weekend on Friday). I'd really love to find the time to make it back up to Killington in Vermont (where I learned how to board) or venture out west for some real powder, but my other hobby, being a workaholic (attorney), has a nasty habit of getting in the way. As for the rest of my free time, my wife and our baby girl have dibs on it!

This weather is crazy! It's snowing in parts of SC and sleeting here in Chas. which means everything will come to a screeching halt tomorrow! The people here are just not equipped to deal with icy roads so they shut everything down for a little ice!

never met a laid back attorney...workaholic seems to go with the territory.

Most physicians as well. at least the ones i have met.

BTW makes me want to ask my cousin where does his snow stuff. I have some photos from Vermont but dont recall the name of the place.

My guess is that the attorneys who are too laid back don't end up being attorneys for too long . . .

There are several resorts in Vermont, I believe, but Killington might be the biggest and most well-known (that's why my friends and I picked it when we went several years ago). It was definitely worth the monster 20 hour drive (with stops) from Atlanta!

Yeah, we definitely overreact to winter weather here in the South!

Having lived as a child in Illinois where you have snow drifts over your head while you're waiting on the bus, you come South and at the first of snow or ice they shut down! The kids will enjoy yet another day out of school.

Thought I would revive this thread and show off some of my handiwork. This afghan was a gift to one of my best friends who happens to be a Pittsburgh Steeler fan. My first attempt at joining granny squares. She was absolutely thrilled with her surprise.

I don't sell them, the are gifts made from the heart and given with love. I have 4 babies due next year so I will be very busy throughout the rest of football season.
