help me get my contacts!

    help me get my contacts!

    ok i previously had an LG voyager and saved all my contacts to bitpim. now i need to get them on my Q9m. i CANNOT use dashwire because i dont have a data plan so what can i do to get them onto my q? theyre currently saved on a netbook on which i cant even install my q driver cd so i dont really know what to do about that please help me i dont wanna have to manually transfer all 130 contacts

    can you bluetooth them to you phone and save them that way?

    dashwire can sync through active sync (or WMDC) while your phone is connected.

    and the drivers and programs you need to sync with are available at www.windowsmobile.com

    so i can use dashwire without worrying about getting hit with a data charge?

    should work as long as you only sync when connected to a PC. There's an option for that somewhere in the settings (it's been a while since I used dashwire)

    are there any other ways if that falls

    there's always outlook, as I mentioned all the software you need (including drivers, and excluding outlook) is available at www.windowsmobile.com.

    most of the other options are going to involve using data

    everytime i go there to try and download activesync it gets as far as clicking on download and then my new window opens up as "not able ot connect to server" is this because im using mozilla? whats wrong?

    please forgive me i dont know what that means imnot exactly a wiz on the computer...worst comes to worst i can just do it manually...

    NOW - Make a backup of pim.vol as a "fail safe" and you'll never have to go through that again. ActiveSunc regularly and/or use M$ My Phone or Dashwire or Sprite. :) -Q
