Hi, Thank you for creating this forum. I purchased the HTC Surround on release day (Monday, 8 Nov). The phone is quite capable and a worthy competitor to the iPhone. My family has pretty much been an iPhone family for the past 3 years. In the past I did quite a bit of development for Windows PC and was always a fan of Microsoft. But they seemed to have lost their way with their phones. But the new Windows Phone puts them back in the game and I am happy for it. I noticed that Windows Phone has a nice maps program with Bing but it did not have street views. Being that I have developed quite a few map sites with Google Maps I created a map site to supplement the Bing maps called http://www.wp7map.com . If you use the site with a Windows Phone simply turn the phone sideways (landscape) to view a street view of the area that the map in centered at. I think you will find it useful particuarily when searching for businesses since the search results contains a link to the map where you can quickly view the business location directly on your Windows phone. My background is computers and my hobbies are hiking, camping, coaching soccer, and exercising. I am looking forward to visiting this forum often to discuss things relating to the new Windows Phone.
