Just saw the White Stripes on friday night, and man can Jack White wield the axe with authority. They didn't even say hello or make any crappy jokes to the audience, just walked on stage played for almost 4 hours and walked off with a bow and thank you. Its amazing to see what just a guitarist and a drummer can pull off by themselves!

    Wha!

Such strong Aerosmith presence, why? Aerosmith suck in my opinion, they are so boring and there songs were to 80's that they just stuck there. It is weird how every site you go on has mostly the same opinions on bands, the top five is usually like LED ZEP< ACDC< VAN HALEN, you knoww...but every once in a while you get a site where it's like only Aerosmith or Iron Maiden fans are at, anyways.

The Eight Greatest Rock Bands in the World Are:

    (No order)

    Led Zeppelin
    ACDC
    The Beatles
    U2
    Pink Floyd
    The Rolling Stones
    The Clash
    The Velvet Underground
    Metallica

Very hard to pick a favorite...but Freddie Mercury and Queen comes to mind. Which brings to mind Bowie. And there's Sting and the Police. Anyway..best live concert....NIN, hands down. Then Mustard Plug and Tool.

    Hey RB

Ummm...RB...This is an article about the worlds greatest rock band, a blog about the WORLDS GREATEST ROCK BAND! I do agree with you but I was just saying my opinion and why it is strange that some wbesites prefer certain artists. What you said.....is, the stupidest thing I have ever heard(read). On a blog, with hundreds of entries, about who you think the worlds greatest rock band is, ahhh, yeah, you are debating musical preferences dude...but either way I understand where your coming from.

You are the second person who seems offended by my comment. Sorry if I have hurt anyones feelings here, really. I don't see what was wrong with my comment, after all, I did say it is "my opinion". Obviously you are right Brax, alot of you do like Aerosmith and thats not actually what I meant. What I meant is, why are there so many Aerosmith fans on this particular site when most other sites I go to they aren't even top tenners. Sorry if you misunderstood me.
