Thanks. I didn't pickup on the subtle differences. To me delivery notification and message sent are kind of the same thing unless you really stop and think for a minute. After that did not work I just went ahead and hacked the registry, which did the job.

It seems that this might be gone in 6.1.

I've never done it because I'm afraid to mess with the registry, but to get to the HKEY you need a registry editor (PHM/Rescoe/)

Searh here and you will find other registry editors for the Q.

PHM Registry Editor (this link might get you started...)

Doesn't SKTools also do that??? I think so and it isn't a registry edit.

correct you need a registry editor to find that or you can just install the cab file on rbs app page which (i havent looked in thread for) but sure the link is here which means no editor is needed

    move file to Q
(verify the file extension as it may download as a .tgz...if so rename to .cab)
DO NOT UNZIP/EXTRACT/REMOVE CONTENTS OF A CAB FILE

once the file is on the Q click on it with the file manager and it will install
    reboot and your done

Installing cab files and "hacking" the phone are 2 separate things.

To "hack" you need a registry editor. To install the cab file for the "No Message sent" do this on your phone:

    1) Pull up internet explorer
    2) Pull up address bar.
    3) in address bar, enter: http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps/Q-Hack%20NoSentSMSMsg.cab
    4) Phone will ask where to install (device or memory card.) Choose one.
    5) Congratulations!

Isn't it easier on the phone?????

Am I the only person here who finds it easier to install .cab files directly on the phone???

it is if you can navigate directly to it or have a direct link to the file

Again, for those of us needing Q for Dummies...Is what I posted the direct link for the poster to get rid of the "Message Sent" message? (I use phone alarm, and there is a check box to get rid of that message, but I don't mind the message...)

Will what I posted (from RB's app page) work?
