hey dafoxs, check your settings under "attact protection", if you turn "WiFi/ other networks" off, do you notice a change? I think it may be picking up false positives due to the lack of WiFi in the Q
I replied to Paco in his email, but for those wondering about this, it's not false positives, they're genuine, coming in over the cellular interface, but the way the Q9c's handle and refer to the network devices internally (like the cellular data interface for example) throws the way they're seen with the wifi on/off. we're working on a method to get around that so the interfaces are identified correctly and being protected right.
Phone Keeps locking up or Freezing I've been running this beta since it started working. It does slow start up on my Q9m. Sometimes freezes at start-up or throughout the day. After a freeze up it works very slowly. Any one else having these problems?...Anyone else still testing the BETA? I reported these quirks to Flexlis. Awaiting responce.
I had the start up problem. I also didnt like it blocking all the ports and no one knew why. I dumped it last night and within a couple hours, i got an email asking why i unistalled it. That I dont like either. Someone is watching you.
=================================Yeah...I turned it off while I was signed in to the web site and my site at flexilis knew when I turned the app off, like it is connected all the time. Haven't uninstalled yet...but if my phone freezes today I will this afternoon.
yes, when it's sync'ing data you can see it live on your flexilis page, and when the phone is done and has disconnected from the server, you'll see the website update live to show that it is disconnected. we've addressed the q9c activation issues, what we're seeing now is a issue with how the AV scan happens at startup that we are trying to nail down. dafoxs: not sure if you got our email back or not about that issue, but in response to your ports question, those were all genuine attacks being scanned that were being blocked. Also, the email about uninstallation is just so that we can figure out what might cause someone to uninstall, so we can track these things and get them resolved and find these bugs! We thank all of you for bearing with us during the testing (beta) phase with this software, that's why we're in beta, it's not a final product, and with the help of amazing testers like all of you, we'll make this a very solid, rocking piece of software! -The Flexilis Team

My phone didn't freeze yesterday. I know that it takes testers to get it right. That's why I'm being patient. I think that it' going to be good....when all thew kinks get worked out. Does the program generate any other error logs you might need?

OK, you keep saying "Attack" I want to know from what. Come on, who is sitting there "Attacking" Phones. So they *Attack" my phone, what are they going to get, a bunch of phone numbers. I want to know from what. I get a bad feeling if people give me the blank answer "Genuine Attacks" For the heck of it, how many attacks is everyone else getting?
dafoxs: It's not one person sitting there trying to attack your phone, or even a phone specifically. It's automated bots, scanners, and viruses/worms that are programmed to scan ports on huge ranges of IP addresses, looking for how they respond to these requests to exploit problems the attacked/infected devices might have, for someone else's personal gain. hope that helps!
So these things have no idea it is a phone? Basicaly it is a firewall? What harm could they do on a phone? Dont get me wrong, The program is great, but I never heard and cant find anything about a virus on a phone and my first phone was a bag phone. Would Push Effect be considered an attack?
As far as I can tell the mail comes through fine, but if they should decide to monitor my phone (and flexilis blocks it) that could be a problem
